Note: The round to attack lightly armored cars.
M433 Dual Purpose: It has both a high explosive charge and fragmentation
wire, but is not as effective against either of its intended targets
as a more specialized round.
High-explosive dual purpose (HEDP) round. This round has an olive
drab aluminum skirt with a steel cup attached, white markings, and
a gold ogive; it penetrates at least 5 cm (2 inches) when fired straight
at steel armor. It arms between 14 and 27 meters, and it causes casualties
within a 5-meter radius |

M583A1 (WHITE), M661 (GREEN), M662 (RED) Star Parachute Flares: Fuse
delay 5 seconds. Burn time 40 seconds. Are of effect: 100m (111y).
Altitude: 152-213m.
Note: Used for illuminating and signaling. The white one burns brightest,
the other two are mainly for signaling. The flares burn out well before
the parachute reaches the ground.
This round is white impact or bar alloy aluminum with black markings.
It is used for illumination and signals and is lighter and more accurate
than comparable hand-held signal rounds. The parachute attached to
the round deploys upon ejection to lower the candle at 7 feet per

and to train gun crews. They are issued only to armorers. The M922
dummy cartridges are joined with M16A2 links. Each MK 19 is allowed
one 10-round belt (DODAC B472), which is packed in an M2A1 metal box.
